Complex Law Group, LLC was founded by David M. Cohen in 2012. Prior to founding CLG Mr. Cohen worked with Carr & Palmer, LLP in Atlanta for approximately 10 years where his practice focused on general civil and complex commercial litigation.
David M. Cohen
Mr. Cohen has been acknowledged by federal and state courts across the country for his experience in multi-state and national class action cases and has been appointed to serve as Lead Class Counsel and Class Counsel in numerous nationwide class actions.
His cases have resulted in the recovery of hundreds of millions of dollars for his clients (See Representative Cases page for more details).
He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, admitted to practice in all Georgia state courts, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit and Eleventh Circuit, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and has been admitted by federal and state courts across the country to practice in connection with cases in those jurisdictions.
Mr. Cohen is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the National Trial Lawyers Association, the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, the Cobb County Bar Association and has been selected as a Georgia Super Lawyer by Law & Politics Magazine. He is a member of the Marietta Kiwanis and past chair of the Young Children's Priority One committee, a service program addressing the needs of children ages birth through five.
Mr. Cohen received his JD and MBA degrees from Wake Forest University School of Law and School of Business. As an undergraduate, he attended Clemson University and received Bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Science. He was also a visiting student at Harvard University where he studied economics and political theory.
